Jack Guisso: P/E 2011

Jack Guisso: debutto ad Alta Roma di dubbio gusto!

Abiti ridondanti, dalle forme geometriche che non riescono a richiamare il cercato riferimento all'arte contemporanea. Sfilata eccessiva in tutto: colori troppo accesi,inserti inutili e una sbornia di cristalli e scintillii.
Nulla da eccepire sulla manifattura, ma è proprio il caso di dire less is more




"Departure": ad Alta Roma la collezione A/I 2011-2012 di Erkan Çoruh

Erkan Çoruh,il vincitore della scorsa edizioze di "Who is on next?", presenta in passerella le sue donne-guerriero. Ispirato dal Caravaggio, lo stilista turco rielabora il significato di femminilita' in chiave "traumatic elegant", accostando sapientemente radicale e classico.
Abiti dalle linee decise, un effetto dramatic dark caratterizzato da ciocche di capelli umani inserite in giacche, gonne,scarpe. Colori cupi - dal piombo al bronzato - per amazzoni urbane pronte alla lotta.

A.I: il magazine di Alta Roma che rivoluziona il concetto di artigianato

Al Macro Testaccio è stato presentato A.I. Artisanal Intelligence, il magazine semestrale nato per raccontare e valorizzare le nuove realtà artigianali italiane, in particolare quelle romane. Un almanacco dal taglio fashion per la Roma contemporanea.  È questa l’espressione con cui è stato descritto A.I., fortemente voluto da Altaroma allo scopo di mettere in luce i giovani creativi che rigenerano il territorio romano attraverso un patrimonio di abilità, competenze e mestieri che appartengono alla memoria storica del nostro Paese.

Il progetto A.I. si è inoltre arricchito grazie alla partnership tra Altaroma e il Premio Solinas, che si occupa di sostenere la creatività e i nuovi talenti in ambito cinematografico. Già tra qualche mese si terrà un incontro che permetterà a creativi e nuovi talenti di incontrarsi e condividere idee e storie che verranno poi elaborati e i cui risultati saranno proposti in occasione delle sfilate di luglio di Alta Roma.

Alta Roma prende il via con un omaggio a Gianni Versace


Rome In Fashion ha preso parte alla presentazione del libro "Gianni Versace: Lo Stilista dal Cuore Elegante" di Tony Di Corcia, edito da Utopia. La prefazione d'eccezione è firmata Oliviero Toscani. All'evento hanno partecipato alcuni tra i personaggi più importanti del mondo della moda italiana, tra cui Beppe Modenese - presidente onorario della camera nazionale della moda - e Adriana Mulassano - celebre giornalista di moda.
A distanza di 13 anni dalla sua scomparsa, Gianni Versace viene così omaggiato e celebrato come uno dei personaggi più importanti del novecento italiano. Da un lato Gianni, l'uomo timido e riservato, dall'altro Versace, lo stilista innovativo e audace tanto amato dalle rock star e dai vip internazionali degli anni 90.
Sullo sfondo, la nascita e l'affermazione internazionale del Made in Italy, l'intuito e il coraggio con cui designer e imprenditori italiani hanno dato vita a un prêt-a-porter capace di sovrapporsi alla gloriosa moda francese. La storia di Versace diventa così la storia della moda italiana, che dagli atelier della moda romana alle holding del lusso, continua a scrivere pagine capaci di incantare tutto il mondo.
